Our Campaigns

Go Solar

活动目标:要求全国50个城市大力发展太阳能, including many here in North Carolina, and to defend our local and state progress.
More Americans are going solar every day. 14.5 million homes.

100 times more power than we need. We’re capturing a tiny percentage of it. Harnessing more of this power would mean cleaner air and a more stable climate; less strain on natural resources and more resilient communities; and an energy source we can depend on to be virtually pollution-free for as long as we can imagine.

So what’s slowing us down? What, if anything, can stop us?

In some places, we’re thinking too small, In other places, we’re thinking too narrowly, 把商业模式过时的老行业的短期利益置于我们的健康之上, environment and wellbeing.

Shining Cities

From 2013 to 2018, 美国大多数主要城市的太阳能装机容量都增加了一倍多, according to our annual Shining Cities report. One third of the biggest cities in the U.S.

The cities that set higher goals, 确保业主为他们向电网提供的太阳能获得公平的价格, make installing panels hassle-free, 提供有吸引力的融资选择,比类似城市生产更多的太阳能.

这就是为什么我们的“闪亮之城”项目正在敦促城市想得更大, act smarter, and tap the sun for more power.

Of course, every mayor wants her city to be the best,

Massachusetts and 10 other states and Atlanta, San Diego, It’s more important than ever that we act locally on solar.

Stand up for solar

每一次重大的技术进步都会破坏一个或多个现有行业, and solar is no exception.

We’re countering misinformation with facts, As in our Shining Cities project,

America still has a chance to lead on solar.

That's why we're calling on cities to go big on solar.
